Leon is a distinguished Whistler based action sports, travel and event photographer with 15 years in the industry
Growing up on the Isle of Wight on the UK's southern coast provided Leon with a passion for the outdoors and a desire to create.
After completing his studies in film photography, he embarked on a transformative journey through Africa, which only fuelled his deep passion for the great outdoors, culture and pushing his limits. This formative experience laid the foundation for over a decade of global exploration, where he has meticulously crafted a portfolio rich in storytelling and authenticity.
Leon’s photography is renowned for its raw and unfiltered creative style, a hallmark that resonates through his commercial and editorial work. His images vividly convey the essence of adventure and the human spirit, making him a reliable collaborator for brands, travel destinations, and publications. He continues to push the boundaries of visual storytelling, offering a unique perspective that celebrates the intersection of human experience and the environment.

Project based rates to be discussed
Includes the following
- Recognise a brands tone and execute shoot accordingly. I can also help develop the tone of the brand through storyboarding
- Organisation of models (payment of models is sometimes extra, this will be communicated upfront)
- Location scouting
- Full planning from start to finish to remove stress from customer
- Deliverables (depending on the shoot but between 80-100 high resolution images)
- Can also provide social media optimised images
- If product for shoot is required then that will need to be provided
Athlete shoot

For budding athletes looking to support their sponsors
Full day shoot. Price can be split between up to 3 athletes
High resolution images
Can advise on how to market themselves to brands
Creative writing
$450CAD - Long form articles around 600-1000 words. Can be negotiated if more than one is required.
$60 per hour for short form commercial copy.
Editorial projects
I can combine writing and photography services. Please enquire for rates based on project.
